An Update on the State of Things

This is the culprit

First off let me start by apologizing for the lack of info. I am going to try and cover everything so bear with me.

1. About a week ago a storm came through and blew out my battery backup unit

2. Along with the battery backup unit it also took out my surge protector

3. From there it jumped into the machine and then cascaded on

4. It hit the motherboard but didn’t kill the whole thing though

5. Took out the main boot drive (the game is not being built there)

6. Took out my cooling unit so the machine kept overheating

7. Also took out the Ethernet jack

Now saying all this, I have had to spend some of the money I would normally use on the game build to replace parts which get expensive. I am still using the motherboard cause right now I don’t have about $250 to replace it. I replaced the cooling and boot drive and am using WiFi when the network jack fails. I did not get a new UPS (Battery Backup) unit but I did get a new surge protector. Getting the boot drive back to almost normal has taken me days.

So this is just the machine stuff I have been taking care of. Now onto the second part.

When I wasn’t home trying to repair this machine which also included a drive to Miami to Micro Center to pick up the cooler, I have been over at a church trying to help them install a new digital mixer and get that setup for their services on Sunday. It looks like I will be one more week on that new week to finish it up. So development will begin again in 2 weeks time.

Sorry for the long winded message but I thought I should let everyone know why there has been no development news. Oh and one last thing, if you have not noticed we switched Web Hosting companies since the last company just was rather unhelpful with things and abilities I wanted to add kept costing more money.
