Pantheons

Four divine legacies. One contested future.

Pantheons in DOTG are more than visual flavor. They define emotional tone, ancestral identity, and the larger mythic tension that shapes the world around the player.

ð“‚€

Egyptian

Authority, sacred symbolism, beast forms, ritual structure, and the weight of ancient rule. This lineage carries a sense of permanence and old power.

áš

Norse

Storm, ruin, endurance, and hard conviction. This pantheon brings a sharper edge of survival and inevitability to the world’s divine inheritance.

Ω

Greek

Heroic ambition, immortal politics, beauty, rivalry, and the tension between glory and downfall. A lineage of greatness that always costs something.

神

Japanese

Spiritual elegance, disciplined power, reverence, mysticism, and a strong relationship between the visible world and the unseen.

What Pantheons Do

They shape mood, culture, and fantasy.

Pantheons help players anchor themselves in a deeper mythology. They affect the visual language of the world, the tone of divine power, and the broader identity surrounding bloodlines, factions, and worldbuilding.

They should also create real emotional differentiation: the feeling of belonging to one tradition rather than simply selecting a color palette.
